Hello,

I'm playing a little bit with the amazon web api and got it running:
<link expired>

I noticed also on other sites that there is no description for books like on:
http://www.amazon.com/...

does someone know how this is possible? and what is your experience with Amazon webservices?

My experience with Amazon was bad in general.

The problem is that everyone knows this company, so they wont buy from a site.

They will buy directly from them when they need a book.

Now regarding the description thing, I don't understand what your problem really is. Can you explain?

yes you're right no one will buy something from a site if they know the original, the same is for templatemonster...

Description:
If you receive the xml stream ther is no tag for the description but if you check the (second) link there is a description. What I don't know is, is there a way to get this into this xml stream?

edit: Nick, why is thread not a CPM marketing item?

I guess there isn't, but you can allways write your own spider to get those infos Smiley

Because Amazon is an affiliate program (they pay percentage of their sales)
