Hello,

I created two websites both about outdoor toys / trampolines.

Both websites are optimized the same way (keywords, inbound links).

The first was an existing website with domain an old domain (with bad results in google)
the second is a new site with a new domain name.

now the strange part, the old doesn't have top 20 listing for the main search therm "trampolines" (is also part of the domain name) while the other site has a listing within the top 20 after a few weeks.

Does Google like new sites (domain names) more the (updated, optimized) old ones?

If you like you may review both sites about the optimization:
the old one: http://www.darteltrampolines.nl
the new one: http://www.buitenspelen.eu

Thanks!

I am a metal monkey!

No google doesn't like new sites, and actually there is a term called 'sandbox' regarding that.

I think that you got better results in the new one because this site is linked from relative websites.

this is for both the same...

I heard about the sandbox, but normally I get (smaller) websites indexed by google within the first weeks
