Hello to all
I want to format my harddisk drive, but i have a little problem! How can i backup my emails and contacts from Outlook Express?
Please help! Thanks in advance!

c:/documents and settings/your user name/application data/identities/{e934873-39493-39494}/microsoft/outlook express should contain a bunch of .dbx files, those are your folders in outlook express. To save your contacts go to file->export->address book in outlook express. You can then save your contacts as a .csv file and later import them back on your new installation. Hope this helps!

p.s. that path is where they are on win2k I'm not 100% certain that xp keeps them in the same place, maybe someone else can check that, make sure to enable 'show hidden files and folders' in your folder options.

XP uses the same structure, but I can't be 100% sure as I use Thunderbird Wink

I just installed my new Windows! Now it`s works great  Cool I backup my data with http://www.amicutilities.com/outlook-express-backup/ Visit through proxy ! I downloaded the trials and works! Thanks all!
