Sounds good as a service, but I can't really find any purpose to use it.
what about sharing excel sheets via the internet, multi user...

edit: and at last no software is needed, just a browser...

this way it's possible to use as a not web developer to use excel functions

in my case the report of work I have done in a period

its more about sharing the document then the spredsheet functions

Today the y add some new functions:

one looks very use full to me:
Often we show some table data (visitor stats ect.) in a forum, this way it really messed up, with google spreadsheets you can copy past the data there (or import a csv file) and post the link at the forum. this way anyone can see you information with the need of having an account.

(By the way I use this tool to report the work at the website of my customers)
