There are currently a lot of suggestions to improve this script. I picked up the most important things and them to this list.

Currently this updates are on the development list: (+++ urgent, ++ medium, + low priority)

- a method to match against a custom regular expression +++
- matching two fields ++

Hi Olaf,

I'm not sure if this request has already been made. So sorry if this is dup.

But it would be great to be able to retrieve the error message for a specific field. The reason is to be able to display the error message above the field where the error occurred.

This suggestion was made before  , cuurently the message holds the (custom)  name of the field (check the demo .

Are you talking about a function that marks the required field by a bullet or some diff. background?
