Yes, I have no idea why some domain sellers think that people, normal people and not big corporations, will actually buy a domain for that amount of money.
I had a domain a few years back that got lost because I didn't pay the fee one year. It was some made-up word that doesn't mean anything, except maybe sentimental value to me. And their offer? $3000. It's crazy!

There are some domains which are worth even more than this. It is pretty crazy, I would never spend close to that much for a domain unless I had a multi-million dollar company that really needed that name
