I was just wandering if anybody has some ideas on how to get free advertising. Any help will be appreciated.

Yes it depend upon your site and your intended target audience, Do you have listed your site in directories and tried out for link building? Another aspect you can try out such as article submission, Press release in free PR site, viral marketing etc.
