I want to setup a online store and want to use some ready made system.

which system is the best

Zen-Cart or OsCommerce?

Zencart is a port of osCommerce, which as they say it is more SEOed than the osCommerce project, but I guess osCommerce is more active project...

didn't know that about the port thing, but you're right osCommerce is more active. Are there other good projects?

Before about one year that I took some research, osCommerce was the best.

I thought there are more free projects but it looks like that they stopped after the big success from oscommerce...
