sorry for my ignorance guys, i thought dreamweaver is a WYSIWYG editor.
to think that i have a copy of macromedia dreamweaver mx v6.1 just lying around here somewhere that i never had the chance to use. is it the same as the dreamweaver you guys are talking about?

Yes of course there is only one dreamweaver...
You have in dreamweaver 3 modes: code, code+layout and layout
the code editor is one of the best I know, but you're right if you use DW you pay for a WYSIWYG editor.

since 1st Page has 4 modes: easy, normal, expert and hardcore... i think its very useful for everyone, even the newbies. i havent opened their hardcore mode yet but i will explore it when im not so busy. and since it is free... all the better for spend-thrifts like me. he he he...

Actually I test a lot of diff. programs and I think that Dreamweaver is not the best application (the ftp and file explorer sucks) but I need this coding features...I think that other tools are OK for other people, I write code 10 hours a day (often) thats why I need a little bit help
