Hello,

It's possible to buy a pixel link aka 1millionpixel.com at http://pixels.postnuke.com/

Having a 1way link will boost your PR of course, but what if this page is holding lots of links like gambling or other not webmaster related websites. Is this good for you webmaster related website?

I don't think it is good for any kind of website.

Plus how did that site got a pr 7? It looks suspicious to me.

Congrats for the 10.000 Smiley

Now back to the topic, pagerank doesnot worth anything, and especcially a high ranked link from a non content page can't really help.

First feha welcome on board have a lot of interesting postings here...

The pagerank of 1mio$hp (that short)

has a lot of inbound links from all the blog and news pages, check:
http://www.google.com/search?q=link%3Ahttp%3A//www.milliondollarhomepage.com/

but you're right a high PR from content rich websites is helpfull, I was just wondering if a link from this postnuke page will help...

The million dollar homepage was something unique, and that's why it got so high in so short time frame.

All the other pixel sites together wont ever get that visibillity.

It's worthless to buy a pr7 link if it has 1 million outbound links that diminish your link juice!

Something is right in my opinion, probably from an old domain that did page rank sculpting or something, which if it did, it would definitely hurt your site.
