Why does it usually take "24-48 hours" to unsubscribe from a service while the same company can start spamming you within a few seconds of getting your email id?

The best is a local spammer (here in Greece there are no laws for spam yet) that has an "unsubscribe" link in their spam mails, which is not working ! Tongue

The problem is even some respectable sites take longer to unsubscribe than to subscribe. What a pity!

If they take 2 days to unsubscribe you, they can still send you 2 mails (and maybe real you in as a customer) and not break the law, since they are unlisting you... eventually...

the best way is using a gmail (or webdigity) email address and add those people to the spam list...
