The only thing I don't like about your site is the logo. The rest is very nice.

Now regarding the site in overall, I think you need to make some submittions yourself before promoting it.

For some reason people don't like empty directories or empty forums.

yes the logo is not good for a directory...

start to submit some high value websites, in your main categories...

Thank you. I will try to make another one. About the categories/sub-categories, can you suggest me anything else or it's fine?

I guess the categories are fine for the begining. While the site willl grow, then you will be able to add more

A few observations:

1. The color combination of the advertisements (on the right hand side box) must be changed. The ads are not visible clearly.
2. The home page link always points to the same page you are currently in (probably a simple bug).

The design is simple and nice and as Nick said with a few more submissions it should do well.

You should check the layout in a resolution bigger than 1024x768.

Also there are some typos (eg. categorys = categories)

And the box in the bottom that has the stats (categories, pending, etc) should propably redesigned as it doesn;t fit with the site.

I see what you mean. At first i tried to do it vertican each one under the other but i couldn't. The result was this Tongue. Finaly i decided to remove the box...
And i did a change at the logo... It's better now, what do you think?

Now it's fine.

But I think that you don't need these adbrite ads....

Maybe you are right. It never shows similar ads to the content. I will remove it... I was thinking to collect the money needed for the check and then i would remove it. But know i think it will take me a year to collect them so...

If you mean to create return visitors, then I am afraid that's not possible.

Why someone should visit again a directory site? (besides webmasters that visit to submit their sites)

Well, not only directories are so much. Everything you start at the net there also so much of this (forums, blogs etc...). I just thought to make a directory because even if there are so much, people would visit it to get at least one more backlink.
So, can you tell me how to attract more people? I have submited my directory into other directories, i use topsites but how do you think it will be known?

Try to post it on every webmaster forum.

All webmaster forums (including this one) have one thread "Announce your directory"

Also you should submit it to the big directory lists like isedb.com
