Header Tags

I read that it is good to use the <h1>, <h2> tags etc.  I'm not so sure where I would use them and are you only supposed to use them once per page? Lets say I have a page with an article, would I use <h1> for the title of the article and then maybe use <h2> for all of the subtitles?

Using headers isn't such a bad thing, as long as it doesn't look like spam.  Using the <h1> tag once should be enough, but you can have as many subheadings as you want as long as they are justified.

It is good to use h1 and h2. Those tags indicate the main keywords of your pages.  But do not use too many of them on each page.

I have also read that the <strong> tag is good for SEO. Is that true?

Yes. <strong> is a very good tag to give some weight to your keywords
