I am about to do a site about the Philippines. Basically about tourism. I have just finished with the design of the site and converting the image to HTML then to PHP. What to I place in the website in the meantime? Do I create a blog? Do I put the image in the index page? Do I just leave it blank? Do I upload the pages of the website as soon as I finish one?

I am still building the page. Do i just let it stay there for a month? My site is still in the construction stage. It won't be done until 1 month.
Should I put a page in it for seo/promotion purposes?

Why publishing a website "under construction"?
do you ever got a unfinsihed magazine in you hand?
just keep the site on development platform (or protected folder on your remote server)

I agree with Olaf.
An under construction page can't help with anything.
