I have a lot of friends that are web designers, web programmers and 3d graphic artists and we want to build a web designing firm. what domain name and company name is good for a web development company? Of course domain name is related to the company name.
Details: I am from the Philippines. Young people but experienced
Anyone want to help me think?

I like the total inrelevant names for design companies.
For example a design firm here in Greece is called Orange.

I think you first need to understand what makes you a company. I mean what is the thing that describes you best.
For example when I started my company I wanted to be a company of people. People make this what it is, and I want the people who are involved to think of it like something they love. That's why I called it HumanWorks.

That is a great article. ^
Yeah, it's basically up to you to decide what you want to name it. You just don't want it to distract a potential visitor from remembering the site or misinterpreting what the site it about. It should be unique to what you offer, or at least creative. Good luck picking one.

These are most effective in a field where a name really needs to grab your attention. Consider what you want from a name. Do you want it to desbribe your company, or do you want it to garner interest, and depend on its uniqueness to attract customers. If you do go with a irrelevant name, consider giving it a sub title that would describe what it does.

I think if you are all filipino you could go for "FlipzDesignz" or simply flipz as a shortcut to Filipinos. Credit me when you do... lol!

One thing that affects the possible name for the business is what DOMAIN you are going to use, and if it's available. No use coming up with a name like SUPERDUPERWEBDEVELOPERS if the corresponding domain is not available.
You need to get a paper and start brainstorming. Sooner or later you will come up with a name.
You will never be 100% completely sure of the final decision, but you can't wait that to stop you from starting your operations. If not look at my business name at grandmacarmen.com haha.

Domain names mustn't be long and must contain keywords that infer the business you are in.
