I would like to announce a new service.
This is interesting only for people that run smf forum sites.
Here is the deal :
We will provide you with fresh content from RSS feeds to your forum.
Let me explain how this will work.
There will be a user in your forum that will do those posts. For instance in this forum we have domain_sales. You will provide us with the username and the password of this user, and then you will give us some rss feeds that you want to integrate to your site.
Every 1 hour our system checks if there are new items in the rss feeds that you have integrated in your site, and it posts them to the appropriate board of your forum.
This program is in beta version, and we will accept only a few persons for this. Also have in mind that there is no interface for this application. You will just send me the details bellow, and the script will start posting to your site.
So to start over, you will have to send me a pm with these details :
Forum url (this is the url of your forum) username and password of the user that will do the posts.
Also you should give this information for every RSS feed that you want to integrate to your forum :
Global Moderator
Internet Junkie

That really sounds great Nikolas! Mind sharing a bit more info on how you do this, since I'm running phpBB forums I guess I cant use this service but we might be able to get this working for phpBB as well...

I am thinking of doing this for phpbb forums too.
If you are interesting I will start the implementation.
I do this using CURL. That means that my script uses the forum as a real visitor. It logs in to the forum, and posts to the appropriate board the feed.
