I was reading an ebook - a free one - and this guy was saying how good is fark.com for promotion.

As I have never used this social bookmark site - propably because it is the a very ugly site - I thought to create an account and submit 1-2 sites, to see if there is really something in that.

While posting can be activated 24 hours after the signup, I guess I'll have to wait to see some results.

Does anyone heree used this site ever as a promotion method?

I will post later any results.

Hi Nick
  Well i use fark occasionaly to promote my blog. You are right is very ugly but it has traffic. See how it works:
You submit your site and if they approve it ( 5% possibility) you get thousands of traffic . They never approve me! BUT all the sites you submit and not approved is published in TOTALFARK.com ( pay site ) that produces about 100-200 hits depend on your post.
