PPC 4 Real Estate

« on: Nov 12, 2006, 03:09:30 AM »

I'm new to the forum here. I needed a password script and it looks like I found a great forum too!

I'm building a rather unique real estate advertising site at http://realestate-synergy.com Visit through proxy.
(Comments and critiques about it are welcomed).

Regarding your site, please don't take me bad, but I think you need a new design there.

Thank you gentleman. I certainly won't argue with you. I would be the first to admit to being artisticlly challenged  Angry

I figured I'd developing the content of the site first and the SEO When the dough rolls in I'll probably hire the graphics done. What are you thinking, a flash header?

I've noticed the page load slowing down too. I removed a "Bidvertiser" jpg, but it was small. Apart from the two Google adsense ads and the top photo there is only text. There are three "include" statements for the header and footers but that shouldn't slow it down that much. I've been meaning to look up a page load test site (before I talk to my hosting company). Any one know of a good one?

I think your server is very slow (the page should not be the problem)

If you need more advice about your current website, then ask for review here:

The speed problem can also be due to the design of the site.

For instance a valid tabless XTHML design will load much faster than a non valid transitional design.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. I'm going to move over to the review section because I'd like to keep this going if possible.

I've still got a couple projects to do in the content area first before I get too deep into the graphics but you all are helping alot with the background info (which I sorely need).
I think I'd like to do a forum like this too about real estate.
