Can anyone suggest the better newsletter script to use? I am looking for a php package. I have used 12all (activecampaign.com) and was hoping that there is a better package out there.

Hi,
I am using oemPro from Octeth (www.octeth.com) and it's quite good. I also used 12All and SendStudio and requested refunds for both of them after 20 days. Octeth provides 60 days no risk monay back guarantee with oemPro. Also, their support is excellent!

Hi Tiki, (and welcome) I think there are a lot of good open source news scripts. a news application is not so complex, most php beginner tutorials are about a simple news application

Hi Olaf,
Thanks!
Yes, you're right. There are lots of free, open source programs. But I always consider purchasing a commercial product if I am going to use it on a project. But this is my choice of course

of course you are free
but why not using open source in your projects? a lot of OS licenses are OK for commercial use (BSD for example)

I bought a license of esyndicat some month before, its running well but now I'm busy with some modifications and noticed that there are lot of things that have to be better, in this situation you can wait until they have developed your needs or you have to do it by yourself

I understand you very well. I feel the same with most development companies. But Octeth is different, they are very responsive and in my opinion they do their best to fit my needs. No more advertising LOL
Anyway, I always prefer writing my own classes, libraries or codes. But sometimes, it is better to use an already-developed script/class instead of writing it from scratch. It will be less-costly and time-saver.
