Can anyone suggest the better newsletter script to use? I am looking for a php package. I have used 12all (activecampaign.com) and was hoping that there is a better package out there.

Thanks

Hi,

I am using oemPro from Octeth (www.octeth.com Visit through proxy) and it's quite good. I also used 12All and SendStudio and requested refunds for both of them after 20 days. Octeth provides 60 days no risk monay back guarantee with oemPro. Also, their support is excellent!

Worths to try.

Hi Tiki, (and welcome)
I think there are a lot of good open source news scripts.
a news application is not so complex, most php beginner tutorials are about a simple news application

Hi Olaf,

Thanks! Smiley

Yes, you're right. There are lots of free, open source programs. But I always consider purchasing a commercial product if I am going to use it on a project. But this is my choice of course Smiley

So, wineo can check http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/Mailing_List_Managers/index.html Visit through proxy for more Newsletter scripts.

I still recommend oemPro Smiley

of course you are free Wink

but why not using open source in your projects? a lot of OS licenses are OK for commercial use (BSD for example)

Olaf, I am using open-source scripts such as Joomla. oemPro is also an open-source application but it is distributed commercially.

I love open source just like you but I prefer commerical one because I usually get more professional support. This is based on my past experiences Sad

OK

I think you're talking about complete solutions right?

There are good php classes like phpmailer or access_user where people giving good support.

(but you're right, I wrote all my classes because of the same reason) Grin

I bought a license of esyndicat some month before, its running well but now I'm busy with  some modifications and noticed that there are lot of things that have to be better, in this situation you can wait until they have developed your needs or you have to do it by yourself Sad

check this thread: http://www.esyndicat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=51971 Visit through proxy

I understand you very well. I feel the same with most development companies. But Octeth is different, they are very responsive and in my opinion they do their best to fit my needs. Smiley No more advertising LOL

Anyway, I always prefer writing my own classes, libraries or codes. But sometimes, it is better to use an already-developed script/class instead of writing it from scratch. It will be less-costly and time-saver.
