Its only cheap for .uk anything else and the price rockets £14.99 (?23, $29.50) for .eu for a year is a good example as other eu countries can get hold of the domain name a good deal cheaper

Was wondering if Webdigity or Nick could purchase domain names in bulk via Godaddy and then transfer them to Webdigity users via their Godaddy account. Purchasing power of many would benefit us all for the reduced price of registering in bulk. Just a thought. - Graham

That's a very nice idea, and I really admire your community spirit Graham
But I am afraid that it is too soon for something like that as you need a really big quantity in order to get better prices, but this will be on the to do list for the future. I guess in some time we will be able to do something like that or maybe force a company to give us better prices (of course this would be possible if we had more members but we are working on that too ).

yes right I think your need 1000 registrations a month to have a little discount, I guess the prices for resellers are lower than...
but maybe we can build a found where the fee could be paid from I like to support webdigity much more than the owners of the coupons I use currently

I will talk later or tomorrow with someone from Goddady to see what we can do.
I've checked their reseller plan and I think this would not be vital for less than 200 registrations per year. Actually that number would be only to cover costs with a price around $8,5 per domain. I don't think that this is what we are looking for.
