Probably the click through rates on these are all pretty low.  But which of the following do you think give the best CTR.  I purposefully left out "paid ads on search results page" (such as Adwords) because they would be the obvious choice of higher CTR.  Plus they can get pretty expensive.

In forums CTRs are very low on any kind of ad. I have voted for signatures as they are clicked often when you have something cool to say.

It really depends on the type of website, I have some website where text links are having a high CTR. I think for all ads/links it important that those are related (thats why I voted for adsense)

I think that unless you are just trying to get click-thru's for posts on forums, that the best ads are targeted to your site and its content.  When you have a long-term following of members and visitors, it will accumulate in the long run and will prevent you from having to constantly be looking for new sources of traffic.
