Which Web Stat program do you use?

My webhost allows me to "turn on" various stat tracking programs.  I don't want to turn on all of them since I only want to use one or two.  But which one?

I use awstats, but as I am very disappointed with all the statistics programs out there, I will be using this in a while

I have been evaluating my stats through webalyzer in cPanel and through a spreadsheet. While I can spot trends of where people are coming from or searching for, it doesn't help with tracking where they go on the site and where they exit. I have been wanting to find something better as this is only working as a strategy because my sites are still not receiving the traffic I would like and are still growing.

for a quick few awstats, I'm using also Google Analytics but a custom solution is the best, I'm using my own alpha version:

I have one that is supplied by 1and1, who I am hosted with.

I would like to install awstats at some point, but it seems difficult to install and may take me some time 

While I do find it sometimes less then user friendly Google Analytics does a good job its just a shame it is not even close to real time!
On our Drupal sites we use the default Drupal statistics module with some modifications to make nice pretty graphs for clients, and use both Drupal and Google Analytics for ourselves, the nice feature of Google Analytics is it helps work out where problems are occurring in landing page and can also show you where common mouse clicks are.

I'm using Haveamint.com script and I'm pretty happy with it.

If you are using pure html it can be quite some work to add the code to all the pages. Why don't you switch to php? Then you can store code that is repeated on every page, like the header, footer and menu in separate files and use the php include statement in your pages. If you need anything changed in the menu or tracking code added to the footer, all you need to update is one file and its there on your entire site.

I can add the code to the pages in seconds by using the site wide search and replace function in dreamweaver, but I am also updating my site from font tags to CSS and so I am re-doing each page manually!

I was using Statcounter.com for all my tracking. They are always adding new features, and they are the best free website visitor tracker IMHO.

Now I just use the Drupal logs for my stats. I'm thinking of adding the Google Analytics module as well, as I have a Google account (though according to a friend, the site looks more like a blog site ).

Awstats is very good program. I'm also using webalizer.
