ok its a plug, but we are running a Skypecast on Friday 14th at 12pm GMT on promoting yourself and more importantly your site for free, we have run a previous Skypecast sudo successfully which was helping people with any IT problems, this time its much more specific and hopefully it means we won't get some real off the wall people like we did last time (I mean that in a nice way ). For more information you can see our blog entry here (which has links to our feedback on the previous skypecast and goes through some of the problems) and to join the skypecast you need to go in via the door on Skype site here though you will only be able to enter after 12pm tomorrow, the session will not last more then 5 hours and is a drop in clinic so come along when ever you want.

Its a lot of work, particularly using Skype which while great at getting lots of people in the room is completely lousy at any form of moderation. If your planning on doing something like this just for members rather then members I would definitely make the cast private but also look at other solutions.

Just thought I would add if any one is interested in joining the skypecast and has some questions ahead of time, I will be on Skype from around 10am GMT (hmm better go to bed!) or they can send them via email. The basic discussion will be based around different tools, sites and techniques to promote yourself etc of course if you have a site you want to promote we will also be running a chat room to help you promote your sites.

Just thought I nwould add it is over we had over 50 people in the room at one time and the skypecast became totally unresponsive forcing us to cancel. Oh well improvements need to be made I think!
