Put a big sticker in your car with your url, best with a color that will attract the eye (eg. orange), and park it on a high traffic road.
I think this could work. What's your opinion?
hahahahah huhu good yea everyone will think once 5-10% may apply it you may get 5-20% advertisement ,any way put link og your site in your visiting card and distribute it like crazzzzy

I actually took this idea a step farther. I got a cheap scrolling LED sign on Ebay and put in the back window of my car with the URL of my humor site http://www.wontonway.com scrolling in different colors. Stickers are good, but something that eye catching is even better, plus it works very well at night. Also, it's dynamic, so you can change the message if you're having a promotion or something. Tom

WOW I am sure that works better than a sticker! I am sure that you would be stopped by the cops here in AUS for that... lol

Yes, well if you check out the site, you'll come to realize that in terms of reckless and idiotic things we've done, driving around with a scrolling sign ranks pretty low Tom

Great idea Tomcat. Thanks for sharing it with us
Btw did you have any measured results from this? I mean did you saw any increase to your type in traffic when you added this led sign?

That's a good idea, especially if your website's target audience is of interest to the local community.
For those people who are concerned about painting their car or marking it up in any way, here's the approach I would take: get one or two of those translucent plastic banners made that statically cling to the rear window of your car. I have one of those myself; it says "University of Toronto". Get something like that made. When you are in stop-and-go traffic to and from work, who knows who might see it. Or when the car is parked in the shopping centre parking lot, the university parking lot, etc.

don't you have to pay signage fee on anything that you advertise on your vehicle?
