After a long time is time for us to host another logo design contest Smiley

This time the contest is for the logo of gumStat Visit through proxy, a new product we are about to release in a few weeks.

gumStat is a web site statistics software, which inspired by my own need for a better statistics program, in order to understand better our network's traffic. I wont say more about the product, as my intention is to make you understand what is this about.

Back to the contest, we need a logo which will have a modern look (maybe a web 2.0-ish) and we would love if you could add to it an icon.

Our purpose with this "gum" name is to have a brandable product, and that's what we want from the logo as well.

The prize

The prize is $100 payable to your paypal account right after the contest end, and of course a free license of gumStat Wink

Note : the gumStat software is not yet published, but you can join our one time mailing list here Visit through proxy and get a note when it is published.

Deadline

You can post your designs untill Monday 11th of December.

I might participate in this, is there any specifics, like colors, sizes, etc.. also what do you mean by adding an icon?

As my english are really bad, I will try to explain icon with images Smiley

Check the logos of blogger.com, 9rules.com, they all have an icon in the left side of them.

Regarding colors I really like the colors of 9rules, and maybe this style is the one that we will use for the site too.

But the colors don't really matter. If you have a very good design we will adjust the colors or adjust the site design to it Smiley

Size is not a problem. If you are going to create a raster logo, use a big size, otherwise this is not a problem.

For slogan I am thinking something like "Your daily webmaster refreshment" Smiley
