Hi Folks,
Is it just me or does google seem to be taking ALOT longer to give PR and backlinks to a new website??
3 sites that I built for clients over 4 months ago have still not been given PR or backlinks. I have added links on relevent PR5 and PR4 pages that are indexed weekly if not daily.
Any ideas?

Maybe you added a lot of links from the beginning? Google tends to "ignore" links when your link grow fast, and stop fast.
But anyway you should not worry that links are not displayed in the link:.... query as this does not mean that those links wont count for google.

Maybe the last pagerank update was too soon to give you some pr?
The last update was in October. If that was the first update for your sites I guess it is reasonable to be on 0. After the next one you should be worried

Google takes about 4 to 6 months to provide any info and SERPs unless you have a lot of inbound links, you might want to search for "Google Sandbox" for more details on time returns and other "penalties" new sites appear to get.
