In my opinion NameCheap is the best domain registrar out there. Their domains are cheap, their support is good, they offer some cool features like Free whoisguard. They also accept PayPal, so you wouldn't have to enter your CC details if you have a PayPal account with some funds in it.
Some other domain registrars I like are Name, Dynadot.
I don't like Godaddy, I heard some horror stories of Godaddy customers and there is some information on Nodaddy.com

I don't like them because the CP is so slow and I have to click so much to register just one domain namecheap (enom) is much better nut I like dynadot at most: cheap(Bulk prices) fast easy powerfull
I'm sure that name cheap or maybe name is much better for people with only a few domain names. If you have 50 or more you need some strong system to handle them (I moved 50% of all my names away from godaddy now)
