It is an new startup in the Silicon Valley.  Web IM where you can use your existing IM logins.  Interesting.  Read their teams page -- it is hilarious.

There is also a GPL messenger which works with all networks - probably that was the inspiration to meebo - but I can't remember the name.

yes there ate more than one, but get these working is not that easy (sometimes), with this website you need nothing only an account for MS or what ever...
