yes, i think that sometimes we forget the real target of a site... that's to have more visitors as possible...

I agree. There are many nofollow links that can help (eg. a comment on a busy blog)

Of course one that is followed by search engines is better, but we can't have it all Smiley

I think all search engines index nofollow links. They just don't give rating to them.

I think this is really good for everyone cleaning up in Wikipedia. This way I guess they should be able to spend their time on more useful stuff then to clean up spam.

I am not sure about that Andreas. Wikipedia is still a good source for traffic, so I guess spammers wont stop now that the links are no followed.

Nikolas I agree, ever since the nofollow, the people updating the pages stopped (almost) checking what goes on the footer in the external links section ...
