According to various webmasters, MSN live recently started to ban web sites from their index, for participating in link schemes.
It is true that before some months MSN was really open to spammers, as it was very easy to claim a search term in their index just by using an anchor text even in non relative web sites(we have done some experiments before a few months and it was very funny how easy that was...)
But as people who talk about this new thing claim, MSN now bans ips - not domains - which means that if a site that uses a shared ip got banned, the rest of the sites that use the same ip are going to get banned! It looks like Microsoft over reacted to the search engine spam they got

time for a dedicated server or at least my own IP address
