The adsl connection here in AUS are now capped at 12mb for about AUS$50 a month...

That is awesome.  Best I can get is less than 1mb unless fios is added here.  Fios will have options up to 30mb.

I used chi.speakeasy.net and my speed test was 8227kbps down and 716kbps up. I have Comcast cable.

Storage 101.2 kilobytes per second
1MB file download 10.1 seconds
Subjective rating Good


My cable tv and my internet come packaged together. I have DVR, and all of the movie channels and I pay $90 a month. Not bad.

Im also running AIM, Yahoo!, PalTalk and ICQ.

Cool. Here in Greece the aDSL plan for 384kb download/128kb upload costs about 50 - 70 euros......
