I've noticed a couple of forums have a ticker style feature near the breadcrumb with the latest shout out and was wondering if this is something that could be done here, it would encourage the use of the shoutbox and help those of us who don't write posts long enough to scroll down to where the shout out box is to see the latest shouts

Well radio daddy was one site but there implementation is a bit annoying as it real is a ticker, I've attached a screenshot as I don't know if non registered users can see it.

its kinda of funny a global moderator banned from viewing attachments... I can still see the attachment is it viewable, I can go host it elsewhere and link to it, but its not all that exciting!
Just a picture of the top of radio daddy forum which has just above the navigation bar the last shout box message.

Quite possibly though I think if it was themed well it would work, radio daddy has a particularly ugly way of doing it. Though I do think the shout box is a great feature it would be nice to make the latest message some how stand out.
