Interesting huh?

As the title of this post indicates, Yahoo has started mixing the organic results with paid.

The interesting part is that they do this with a way that looks "phissy" and it is for sure deceptive for the average user.

For example if you search for flowers Visit through proxy there are some blue background ads, but after those there are some regular listings which are actually ads.

You can identify them
1) by the url they redirecting to (http://rds.yahoo.com/XXXXXX Visit through proxy)
2) by the fact that those listings do not have cached version like the rest organic listings.

I think this will dramatically increase the CTRs/earnings for the Yahoo company, but how fair is that for the advertisers?

I will let this to be answered from you Smiley

Actually every link shows as http://rds.yahoo.com/XXXXXX Visit through proxy, this does not mean they are ads. My own websites are also showing this link from Yahoo, they must have changed something on their SE

Those listing also don't have a cached version. Isn't that suspicious?
