SMF is the only option when it comes to forums.

eehm, yes. i am support mananger since the good old yabb se days.
and the optimize database / backup utility inside yabb se and smf was codet by me.
but i am here because of one of my own sites

BTW it is a little bit early to ask you for a favor, but I guess you can help on that Smiley A month ago I was trying to buy advertising at the SMF site, but I still waiting for an email from the guy I talked. I was asking for a frequency cap (actually I just want to have one impression per session) as your site is a forum.

Can you help me on this? It looks like your mail server has some kind of problem (or my emails look too spammy Smiley )
