Hi Nikolas
Well i'm based in The UK, and i'm currently working on my company, phplemon.com which is where i showcase my 2 pieces of PHP software that i am currently working on.
My biggest project is my advertiisng network script, which could be best described as an AdBrite clone. More info here, phplemon.com/textadscript.php.

Thats right, the demo for this script is here, www.adquick.co.uk - I orignally created the script for myself to be run over at adquick.co.uk, but i took the decision to concentrate more on the development of the software, so i turned adquick.co.uk into a demo for the script.

Yeah right. Now that you posted the adquick url I remember. You had a special advertising deal which I got before a few months.
I saw your script's page, and I mentioned the high price you have for this product ($699). I think it is a fair price, at least I would charge a few thousand to develop something like that, but internet is used to cheap products.
What are your conversions on this product? Is it hard to find clients from this?
If you don't want to answer that, it is ok, we all understand that

I'm not going to give away exact figures on sales, but what i will say is, since i started selling it just over a month ago, the sales have been in double figures.
So far, i have targated webmaster related forums to get new clients and i've been quite happy with the response, i'm also trying to use my newly learnt knowledge of SEO to get as many people direct to my site from search engines, and again i've been quite pleased with that so far.
I put an add on another well known webmaster related forum, and i got a lot of feedback on my price of $699, and a few people were saying thats to much, but when people are willing to pay it and they have been, i thought to myself why reduce the price?

That's very good
What you said about webmaster forums, I guess is for people who make $100-200 per month who can't really afford a price like that. But for a company who is going to do that business and will have to pay more than $4000 for development costs, it is a fair price.

Hi Phil where in the UK are you from?
The value is in the eye of the beholder and all that, lowering your price may increase sales which would cover the lowering of the price, have you thought about running a short promotional sale reducing the price by 15%-20% for a couple of weeks, it might not be enough but I suspect at 20% you would see an increase in turnover simply due to increase volume.
