Batch resize software?

Hi,

Does anyone knows of any good program for automatic resize of images?

By the term 'automatic' I mean that the program will be able to resize a lot of images at once, using the same settings

Recently I found AutoImager which is a very nice program for this work.

I also think that acdsee is capable of doing this job, but I would prefer to buy a program from a smaller company

AutoImager is really good.  I use it for batch converting gifs->jpegs

i have acdsee 6 but havent seen the batch resizer in it.

Macromedia Firework 8 has a batch processing feature.

Too time consuming when you have 1200 images, and the client is hurry

no it isnt i have just done 250 brake discs! took me about 10 mins, theirs such things as file > automate > batch (which runs a recoreded action)

the fastest way is to use some commandline tools provided by ImageMagick
like:
convert rose.jpg -resize 50% rose.png
