Hi,

Does anyone knows of any good program for automatic resize of images?

By the term 'automatic' I mean that the program will be able to resize a lot of images at once, using the same settings

I also think that acdsee is capable of doing this job, but I would prefer to buy a program from a smaller company Smiley

I use some php script and inside a loop ...

like
Code:
<?php
set_time_limit
(1000);
// error_reporting (E_ALL);

function thumbs($file_name_src$file_name_dest$weight$quality=100) {
$size getimagesize($file_name_src);
$w number_format($weight0',''');
$h number_format(($size[1]/$size[0])*$weight,0,',','');
$dest imagecreatetruecolor($w$h);
imageantialias($destTRUE);
$src imagecreatefromjpeg($file_name_src);
imagecopyresampled($dest$src0000$w$h$size[0], $size[1]);
imagejpeg($dest,$file_name_dest$quality);
imagedestroy($dest);
}
// $foto is some array created with some directory functions
foreach ($foto as $val) {

thumbs($val$file32085);
}
?>

the fastest way is to use some commandline tools provided by ImageMagick
like:
convert rose.jpg -resize 50% rose.png
