I've finally got my site done. I'd love to hear what you think about Pet Site Guides.

It uses the free version of phpLynx.

Have either of you had a chance to play with the script? I'd love to know what you think of it.

I hope it was only the server. I noticed the past couple of days it has sputtered a few times with loading things on all of my sites with them (different servers).

My Internet connection (different company, same city) has been acting up as well - wonder if they are having brown-outs or some sort of power issues in Atlanta.

I have been working on a new directory using phpLynx. It is a newer product, but part of their promotion strategy is to be bug free and allow programmers and non-programmers to be able to get it installed and running quickly.

There is both a free and paid version.
i swap links with other website owners, but i don't have a tool to manage the process, do you think phplynx would work? i need a simple but reliable one, and of course a free version
Where are my glasses?

Recently phplynx tried to resurface again but as usual the representatives got abusive to forum members. I use phpld for my directories.

phpLynx is in something of an orphan state right now. I am no longer associated with them (long story that I'd rather not repeat).

hooloo, both eSyndicat and phpLD offer free versions. I have seen some nice implementations using Joomla, WordPress and other CMS programs. I have two directories running on two different releases of the paid version of eSyndicat.

If you are creating a directory I would use either eSyndicat or phpLD. If you are adding a directory onto an existing website that uses a CMS, it might be easier to use the add-ons created for that purpose.
