Before a month or so, I wanted to create a weblog for monetization tips and techniques, and I finally made PaymentBlogger

The site runs with wordpress and I am just finished with design and posted some initial content.

Please let me know how do you like this site. Do you think I should change anything there?

I am glad that a guy like you likes the content, as this is the only real thing to consider on a blog right?

I have made a few posts more, in order to have one post per day (wp has an option to program when the post will be available)

I guess in a week or so when the site will populate, I will start promoting it.

I like the logo very much but not so much the WP theme, the blocks are looking to me a little unstructured...

the colors are great and your are right it's the mainpage, the subpages are better.

I think it is the lack of the content. I will try to fill the first page with more things

I like the overall look of the site and the content of it and the logo is neat.

I have an objection about the site's background stripes, I think there is too much black alltogether

the background image has one stripe #292929 and the other is #212121 (the dark one)
and the background of the content is #212121 so it gets a little confusing to the eye (at least my eye) what is background ? and what is content?

I would go for either with
background:#444
or
a gradient background (#444 top going to #666 to the bottom)
or
change the dark stripe to something lighter

Thanks Giorgos. I will test this out. It is true that my eyes don't work so well after so many years in front of a pc monitor

Nick just checked your site on my older monitor, thats really dark can't see the vertical lines...
