Good week all round, Tim Nash is not exactly the hottest contested domain name, my site been at number 2 for a while now, but that final hurdle in the end was just time and a couple of nice inbound links from drupal.org and searchenginewatch helped!

I should quantify I started the site specifically to get to the number 1 spot, and the other sites to get the first 10 on page 1 of the SERPs this was started back in December last year but I was sandboxed for 3 months, once out of the box went straight to number 2 and a few weeks later number 1. Its odd to manipulate your own name and at times quite challenging but fun. The experiment is over for the time being I will be happy with that though its hardly my first number 1 LOL

Wow Olaf, that must get you some traffic.
Sorry, Tim, didn't realize it was part of an experiment. On second glance, I didn't mean to imply it was your first #1 - I had just thought it might have been a challenging one. I'm surprised I have the top 4 for my name as my surname is the same as a very famous golfer in this country and in the past he has held the top spots for my name (without quotes) even though his name is Bob and not Michele.
I would assume you had similar issues with Nash and the ramblers and with a popular name like Tim.

I remember a funny thing on my website in the first month: I got a top 5 listing with "over php" because that was part of the page title of my dutch language main page. "over" is about in the english langauge.
I have also a loty of hits for "easy php" while this php installement is never mentioned (I have a class named "easy php upload")
