I was reading this post by Eli (blue hat) a great read by the way but not for most people here and wondered how long people spend on their sites a day.
For me my normal routine Monday to Friday is up by 7.30 working by 8 finishing around 6 then back at it around 10 till midnight with perhaps another 10 or so hours at the weekend making my working time 60 Hours a week.
Google dot what?

Right now I am doing more research than working on my websites. I am doing 8 to 10hrs a day research and 1 to 2 hours working on my website. I am also kind of holding off for my new server to get here.

Research is a critical part of the "webmastering" work. Don't underestimate it

I always have at the very least 6 hours online... but sometimes I go to 18 hours if theres critical work but I do take a 15 minute break for longer work hours... What I hate though is spending hours logging on mgpnyc for accounting and then report for taxes...
My time now depends on what time I get up in the morning, cause I have to be off this PC by noon.

To much time on a variety of websites Though a good design and proper automation can reduce your 'work' time on an individual site if done correctly. I spend most of my time though looking for ways to automate as much as possible. Time saved equals money made.

That's a great strategy. I am looking forward to automate as much of my business is possible - of course this is a hard task and not possible every time - especially now that I going to serve the army for some months.

Indeed And good luck with that military time! I tried to join the Marines several times over (Family tradition more than anything), however I couldn't pass MEPS over a 3dB over average loss of hearing in one ear... even with a 97% ASVAB score! I'm partially jealous of you!

That's funny. I am going to military because I have to (it is required here in Greece), hope I could switch positions with you but I guess this is not possible

Very interesting! I knew that Greece required military time for men a very long time ago just from history courses, but I had no idea that it was still that way! Do yourself a favor and don't wish that you didn't have to go. Military training isn't just about learning combat maneuvers... It will make you a stronger, more focused, and more successful in everything that you do. There isn't a lot that I wouldn't do to experience USMC basic training just to get that much out of it.
Perhaps though when you get out, you'll be more consistent about spending time working on your websites than the rest of us are!

Yeah maybe you are right, and believe me that's not my problem but the fact that I will leave my business alone for some time and I hope this wont make things worse....
