I'm planning to move to town with a year and will go to DSL and get a faster connection then. This current connection sucks as I can't get Unix distros or anything good that I need to download or upload fast.

I have 2* 512/256 lines one for the house and one for the garage

why do you need two? cant you just setup a network?

Quote
but it nearly always limits the amount you can download to 1 or 2gb a month, I get through that in a day

thank goodness our providers here didnt think of that download limit thing, they just charge you per minute your online. but what i got is the unmetered dialup.

The garage has my servers, and testing network, the house has the other PC's they actually are connected via a wireless bridge between the 2 networks Wink but are kept on separate subnets. Actually have 3 networks as I have a guest network within the house which sits on the same subnet as the house but runs into an old box running as a captive portal. It just makes life easier when friends come to stay, no need to mess around with settings.

Would you like to be an SEO, let me help with, The Tim Nash introduction to SEO alternatively for Social media optimisation take a look at the Venture Skills Blog

A setup like that could still do with just one 'net connection
