need your opinion about some .eu domain names

I need to renew some .eu domain names like:

big-toys.eu    
good2play.eu    
bestforum.eu    
firstforum.eu

is it worth to keep them? (I don't have plans for websites)

what do you do with your parked .eu names after almost one year?

hehe. I know because you need an address in europe, while this Belgium guys from eurid never check an address

anyway are there other opinions? do you keep .eu names you have registered a year ago? (not only you Nick)

bestforum and firstforum maybe worth keeping the others not so sure about
obviously bestforum would make an interesting directory/top site style site.
firstforum  not so sure about but I would hold on to it, I suspect you can make more then you paid for it

right for bestforum I had the idea to create a directory / topsite

the others are promoted via this durch outdoor toy related website:
www.buitenspelen.eu

but never got an email about them...

You could start a site like Tim said on bestforum but on firstforum you could start a FREE forum hosting. phpBB for example.

why would it get you in trouble with Google, chances are parked domains have never been used so it would just be type in traffic, and if they have at least the domain is pointing somewhere useful and not just to a pile of adverts if you were google which would you prefer?

I have both of them, I think I should create that directory (if I have the time)

what would happen if a competitior found out that you had another domain name pointing to your site and then they submitted it to Google, could this not seriously effect your websites ranking or get it removed from goolge for a few months?

no redirecting using 301 just tells google the old (or non existant content) has now be moved to the new (already established domain).

Indeed your competitors submitting it on your behalf will probably help you, as you would gain at least 1 additional back link and maybe even some strange long tail traffic based of the URL.

Is pointing a domain different then 301 redirecting it?

I have a few domain names that I wish to point to my domain, but I don't do it as I thought that I would get penalised by the search engines!

I'm sure someone told me that it was black hat seo and could land you in trouble ?

I don't think this would be trouble. Many companies register several domains (eg. typos or keyword rich domains) that point to the same site, but they use only one domain to promote their business.
