Hi,

I need to copy some plublic folders with files from one webserver to another. Because it some filesize (total ~2GB) I want to copy them via linux using putty.

how do to do that:

I thought I go to the target folder and run that kind of command:
rsync http://www.domain.com/files Visit through proxy /files

What about FTP? FlashFXP lets you open a connection to two servers and copy files directly from one to the other without pulling the files thru your own PC.
