You only need those :
Social bookmarks Having your feeds submitted in a few sites ping whenever you post something new. If your site has no pinging feature you can use a service like pingoat

lol
ok not going to say everything we do but...
Add link to my signature on 2 specific forums that get crawled every 24 hours and I have a couple hundred posts on. Del.icio.us, magnolia etc add to 3 or 4 accounts, 2 automated plus 2 manual add to my Launch blog including a plain text URL in the title, this is picked up by all the scrapers and is used on all the splogs where the kind post link will auto turn it in to a live link, so many splogs will give me a temporary boost. (because its clearly scrapped you don't suffer a penalty for them stealing your content win win (note not something we do for clients as it has the potential to back fire).
add to 4 directories that I know I'm guaranteed submission within 24 hours, that also take feeds. Ping every site going, use sitemap ping options. If I want traffic as well dzone, Digg, stumbleupon etc

I have a blog that I simply right posts about new client or my own sites, the blog is normally picked up only by splogs, as it uses auto language translation to help maximise number of crawlers that will find it.

yes, scraper blogs, that take rss feeds and create new posts, used by nasty spammers, the nice thing about splogs, are they are of negative effect, you see when they start they are crawled and treat like any other blog, so when your site is "picked up" in the scraped content its indexed as well, but when Google realises that the blog was a splog it banishes it to Google Hell, but doesn't place a bad mark against your site because it can see that it was a scraped post.
This trick is a great way to get a huge temporary boost of links (useful for applying to paid posts sites or link exchanges etc) with no penalty as your the victim
