Hi guys for those that don't know All about asking was cancelled due to my bad back (broken bones and slip disc) which has made me bed bound for a month or so, one of the guys who was participating asked if I would do a web seminar and I thought what a good idea it!

Therefore Thursday the 24th of May I will be hosting a seminar covering my workshop in getting in the right search engines.

the course covers all of the normal course
http://www.allaboutasking.co.uk/getting-right-search-engines

but includes
    * Introduction to search engine algorithms (without maths!)
    * Looking at how factors and ratings effect not only positions but which indices you appear in
    * Regional and Country search, how to make your site "British" enough to appear in the UK SERPS
    * Creating a local listing, and appearing on Google Maps
    * How to deploy mobile versions of web sites and make sure they are crawled properly
    * Dealing with feed based engines and cover the basic of XML feeds
    * Introduction to Google Base, Froogle and the One Box

it takes 2 and a bit hours at least (please note I may waffle) if you want to participate it will be in the afternoon of the 24, and will use adobe acrobat connect service (aka breeze)
To participate you will need to be in the EU/US/Japan, over 16 years of age and be on a broadband or similar connection
It will be a maximum of 15 participants.

The cost for this course is $50 however it is payable on completionand only if you are completely satisfied if you don't think you have learned anything you don't pay its that simple. Interested please PM me

old injury met apple tree, I'm really pissed off we are only a week away and had to cancel I'm well lets say a little upset but that's not the half of it, all those who were coming to all about asking have been offered free access to this seminar, I was so looking forward to meeting people and to demonstrate the various bits, now all I have to look forward is a hotel after money and paper work Sad

I guess that will happen anyway and it is just a matter of time Smiley

BTW Greece is a great place for vacation. Maybe Tim would be interested to host a seminar here, or maybe you would love to come for some vacations Smiley
