they started as a pure catalog and added some community features several weeks ago. Since two weeks I have still more activity in my mail: getting friends, people joining my neighborhood or send reviews / messages.
one important thing is: the didn't accept every weblog! (maybe this is a good point?)

really I get maybe 1 or 2 visits a week max, biggest refers are still the social boys, stumble, digg, dzone, del.icious though stumble and Digg are sending only a trickle

I actually got already 1120 views on mybloglog profile since the beggining of the year (5 months) but I am activelly seeking friends and joining communities http://www.mybloglog.com/buzz/members/GiorgosK/ the page is also PR4 another thing is Mybloglog was recently bought by yahoo

Sorry I did not mean to destroy your thread, it was only to show you that mybloglog can send in some traffic too, (I do get some traffic from them) but I am going to see what's up with blogcatalog when I get a chance
