Anyone have any imput on which OS to run? Centos 4.5 is php 4 series and mySQL 4 series. Where Centos 5.0 is php 5 and mySQL 5. I want to run wordpress smf and proxy websites. Thanks for your input.

do for the new version, if you need mysql5 later you don't need to upgrade

I don't like redhat Smiley

I used to have fedora in my previous server, but I didn't liked it much.

Of course all of them are linux so they are great. I just feel better with Debian based distros, and I think Debin has the best repositories.

I mentioned to use the latest PHP and mysql version Wink (of course debian or ubuntu is the first choice)

Well I went with Centos 5 and I love it. Everything works right out of the box. Thanks for the advice guys. Smiley
