Welcome detoam
nice stories everyone, lots of pain though
I must disagree (probably I am the only one who does) but for me wisdom teeth did not heart one bit.
Taken out 1 from the top in a minute that was a piece of cake. The one on the bottom was taken out the same day with a 30 minute hour operation (topical anesthesia) which involved the doctor literally hitting my tooth with what seemed like a hammer since there was a complication. Thedoctor had decided that he had to take it out in pieces otherwise he could not remove it; it was stuck under one other regular tooth.
The doctor prescribed painkillers for the next 5 days, I did not buy the painkillers there was a slight pain only the first night but two days latter I did not remember I had done an operation. I guess we all react differently in different kinds of pain.

Well I have to wait to get married first before I get a visit from the wifes mother... anyways, I did have my top 3rd molars removed with no pain at all... i have to wait till the local dentist here have a laughing gas, they still use local anesthetic. so I can remove the bottom two without pain...
