Hi,

just checking my stats from yesterday, was this a holiday for countries like US, CA, UK?

I mean the kids are off school yesterday?

 I dont know but I think alot of proxy traffic comes from kids in school in the USA. I know when my cousion is in his computer class he is not doing his work lol.

I dont know but I think alot of proxy traffic comes from kids in school in the USA. I know when my cousion is in his computer class he is not doing his work lol.

but wasn't the kids free from school yesterday?

Thats what I mean less traffic because of no school. The bad thing is I think 2 weeks no school for the next 3 months. That kind of scares me just getting into the proxy business. I hope it dosent take long to at least cover the server expense.

if you block traffic from "several" countries you still have enough earnings from Adsense Smiley

Yesterday was one of the biggest Orthodox celebrations (for the Holy Spirit) so I guess we loosed traffic mostly from orthodox Christian countries.

why the need to block traffic?

there is a lot of traffic from the middle east from users surfing porn, this is very expensive in bandwidth and the earnings on ads are very low.

if you block your site for using a proxy the ads and links are still active (try yourproxy dot eu)

He means that the proxy is not working (visitor can't visit a site using the proxy) but still the advertisements are visible

that doesn't work Cheesy (hot link protection)

Nick, check one of my my proxies and the arcade site in 3 hours (rush hour) and notice how fast both websites are with 7 proxies on one server Wink

i pretended to come from switzerland using an anonymous proxy server and i was able to use it.
